The spiritual exercise commenced promptly at 3:00 p.m. and concluded at 4:00 p.m., drawing parishioners together in prayer, reflection, and devotion. The faithful gathered in a spirit of reverence to meditate on the passion and suffering of Jesus Christ, walking prayerfully through the fourteen Stations that commemorate His journey to Calvary.
The service was marked by scripture readings, hymns, and moments of silent reflection, allowing prisoners to deepen their understanding of Christ’s sacrifice and the meaning of the Lenten season. Parishioners were encouraged to embrace repentance, forgiveness, and renewed commitment to their Christian faith as they journey through Lent.
Speaking at the conclusion of the devotion, the parish Priest reminded the faithful that Lent is a sacred time for spiritual growth, self-examination, and reconciliation, He urged members to cultivate hearts filled with forgiveness, thanksgiving, patience, and constant prayer.
