The HCA/YOMM had a day with the Bishop, of which started from the 10th to 11th of October. on the evening of the 10th the children had a Movie Night with the movie titled 'Daniel'. while on the 11th the children began with Morning sport exercise after which was the Mass as celebrated by the Bishop and then the talk on 'We are Missionaries' by Fr. Kelvin Bello, then the quiz competition amongst ten parishes present, of which the winner was St. Mary Gidan Korau. The Bishop finally gave the Final Blessing and all the children departed Joyfully.

Gusau, Zamfara State — November 2, 2025 The Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON) held a vibrant inter-diocesan convention from October 30 to November 2 at Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Gusau, drawing enthusiastic participation from youths across the Katsina and Sokoto Dioceses. The four-day event featured spiritual reflections, workshops, praise sessions, and cultural displays aimed at deepening faith and fostering unity among Catholic youths. The convention theme, centered on "Faith in Action," inspired discussions on leadership, evangelization, and community service. Highlights included a Eucharistic celebration led by Bishop Matthew Hassan Kukah of Sokoto Diocese, and a keynote address by Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Bako, emphasizing the role of youth in shaping the future of the Church. Participants left energized, committed to living out their faith boldly and building stronger inter-diocesan bonds.
CAMPAN KADUNA PROVINCE HOSTS MEDIA CONFERENCE IN KANO

Kano, Nigeria — November 6, 2025 The Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN) convened its annual conference for media personnel and directors from all dioceses under the Kaduna Ecclesiastical Province from November 4 to 6 at St. Thomas Parish, Kano. The three-day gathering brought together Catholic communicators from across the province—including representatives from the dioceses of Kaduna, Kano, Kontagora, Minna, Zaria, and Kafanchan—for a series of workshops, networking sessions, and spiritual reflections focused on enhancing Church communication in the digital age. Keynote speakers emphasized the importance of ethical storytelling, media evangelization, and collaboration across diocesan boundaries. The conference also featured breakout sessions on social media strategy, crisis communication, and parish-level media engagement. Participants left with renewed commitment to amplifying the Church’s voice and values through modern media platforms.
