The sacred celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony between Yossi and Aliyu was solemnized on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, Malumfashi, in a joyous and spiritually uplifting ceremony.
The Holy Mass commenced at approximately 10:30 a.m., with a remarkable presence of nine priests concelebrating the Eucharistic celebration. The Mass was presided over by the Chief Celebrant, Very Rev. Fr. Luka Yohana Magaji, alongside Very Rev. Fr. Richard Shuaibu, Very Rev. Fr. Cyril Ibe, Rev. Fr. Jerome Aghi, Very Rev. Fr. John Izuala, Rev. Fr. Habila S. Bala, Very Rev. Fr. Nura Samaila, Rev. Fr. Lazarus Amen, and Rev. Fr. Musa Bulus Bala.
The Gospel reading was proclaimed by Very Rev. Fr. Nura Samaila, while the homily was delivered by Rev. Fr. Jerome Aghi. In his sermon, Fr. Aghi emphasized the core values of a successful Christian marriage, highlighting love, care, commitment, sacrifice, and the importance of constant prayer as the foundation of a lasting union.
A significant moment of the celebration was the exchange of marriage vows, officiated by Very Rev. Fr. Richard Shuaibu, as the couple publicly expressed their consent and lifelong commitment to one another in accordance with the teachings of the Church.
